Burlington Arborist Retires after 35 Years

Today the city of Burlington and it’s trees say goodbye to it’s long time arborist.

Warren Spinner has been on the job for 35 years. During that time he has helped plant thousands of trees all across the city.

Friday afternoon at Oakledge Park his friends family and colleagues gathered to celebrate his achievements and his retirement party.

It will be a few weeks before his replacement is named. He or she will have some big shoes to fill.

Spinner says that in retirement he still plans to be the Essex tree warden as well as spend time with his children and grand-children.
