A Burlington man was sentenced on Thursday to seven years in federal prison after pleading guilty to charges of selling heroin, possession with intent to sell heroin, and possession of firearms in conjunction with a drug trafficking crime, according to the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Vermont.

Officials say police executed a search warrant at Wilson’s home, and found 160 bags of heroin and a revolver.  A second search of a home Wilson visited turned up an additional 160 bags of heroin, $3,333, and two handguns, according to the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Vermont.

Wilson had faced a minimum 5 year sentence and a statutory maximum term of life in prison.
