Bringing cultures from around the world to Vermont.
For the past 24 years, people have been coming together for the Vermont International Festival.
At the Champlain Valley Expo Center on Sunday, people got to taste food, hear music and see art from other parts of the globe.
There was also an emphasis on cultures that have come to Vermont through the Refugee Resettlement Program.
“This gives our public in the area a chance to meet people, instead of just hearing about them or seeing them as group of people, here you get to see them as individuals,” Ben Bergstein, the Artistic Director for the festival, said.
The festival first started at Burlington’s Memorial Auditorium, which closed its doors this weekend.
