New Hampshire health officials reported 3,499 COVID infections between Friday and Sunday, along with five additional deaths.
Initial figures for cases reported Friday and Saturday add up to 2,755. The Department of Health reported 744 new cases Sunday.
According to the department, 399 people were hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19, and 18 more people were being treated for suspected cases. The state’s 7-day positivity rate from testing is 12.6%
The health department said five more people have died:
- 2 female residents of Hillsborough County, 60 years of age or older
- 1 male resident of Merrimack County, 60 or younger
- 1 male resident of Rockingham County, 60 or older
- 1 male resident of Strafford County, 60 or older
