Despite warm weather rivers remained within their banks

Warm temperatures, melting snow and rain caused concern overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday that many area rivers that were still jammed up with ice would move, creating more problems for already waterlogged areas.

According to the National Weather Service, the ice jam is staying put in the Winooski River despite the forecast saying the river is above flood stage.

Local 22 & Local 44 checked in with towns across New York and Vermont to see if anyone experience additional flooding overnight last night and all so far have remained dry.
