Help could be on the way for Vermont farmers who suffered losses in May.
According to the USDA, disaster loans are available following severe storms May 4.
Farmers in Addison, Bennington, and Rutland counties are eligible.
Producers have until March 9, to apply for the emergency loans.
The money will go toward fixing damaged equipment and farm buildings, and replacing lost livestock and crops.
