The driver accused of causing a deadly crash in Saint Albans, a year ago will be released from custody.
Ryan Wooster will be in the custody of two family friends on new conditions, according to the law office representing him.
This comes after the 21-year-old Georgia, Vermont man violated conditions of his release in August by drinking and staying out past his court-ordered curfew.
His new conditions include a 24-hour curfew except for appointments or when he is with his custodians.
Last December, Wooster pleaded not guilty to charges connected to the crash.
Wooster’s girlfriend 20-year-old Cassandra Viens was in the passenger seat.
She was killed in the crash.
Wooster’s trial is pending.
