Familiar Face to Lead Special Olympics Vermont

A familiar face will be leading the team at Special Olympics Vermont.
 
Sue Minter will be taking over as the new President and CEO.
    
The Waterbury resident ran for Governor in 2016 and was the Chief Recovery Officer following tropical storm Irene.
    
Minter is also a gold medalist for the US Figure Skating Association.
 
Minter will replace Lisa Denatale who is retiring after six years of leading the organization.
    
Special Olympics Vermont gives training and opportunties in 13 sports for more than 13-hundred athletes.
