Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin will be speaking with Pew Charitable Trusts on confronting America’s opioid and heroin addiction crisis.
The live webcast begins at 11 a.m. on Friday and lasts about an hour.
Gov. Shumlin, according to Pew Charitable Trusts, will discuss his latest proposals to build on the progress Vermont has made, including limiting the availability of opioid pills and promoting the use of a drug that blocks the desired effects of opioid drugs.
