Step right up, come one, come all, the Hickok & Boardman United Way kick-off was one for the books.
The parent companies geared up for their annual fundraising event on Monday.
More than 100 employees gathered to take part in the circus themed event bringing their enthusiasm, talents, and wallets to support the cause.
Each individual had the chance to donate to United Way in between fun games and activities.
Last year, the group raised more than $135,000 and this year they hope to top that by the end of their week long event.
CEO of Northwest United Way, Jesse Bridges, explains to us what this event means to the organization.
“We’re all about community, to see people come together to raise dollars that they know are going to have a very strategic impact on the issues that are facing the most vulnerable in our community. It’s warming, inspiring, and we know that we can do great work with these dollars, thanks to their support.”
Hickok & Boardman will be hosting a food truck event for community members Wednesday September 19th, 2018.
