Vermonters spoke out against the on-going killing of African Americans at the hands of law enforcement.
Justice for All hosted a gathering at the state house to pay respects to several African Americans who lost their lives this week, the latest being Keith Lamont Scott in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Justice for All is a non-profit organization striving to end racial injustice.
“We are at a tipping point and it is time to act, and our complicity, our complicity in this matter makes us no better than those who oppress us,” says Justice for All Co-founder, Mark Hughes.
Justice for All says one in 14 African American males are incarcerated in Vermont.
