Labor Day Weekend Has Many Traveling for the End of Summer

Labor Day weekend marks the unofficial end to the summer season, and for drivers getting in one last road trip we have good news.

According to AAA of Northern New England, drivers will pay less to fill up than any other Labor Day since 2004.

A good rule of thumb for those flying by plane, you should arrive an hour and a half before departure time. Also you should expect a few more delays because of Tropical Storm Hermine, and should check in with their airline.

Folks we spoke with at Burlington International today say, it hasn’t been too bad so far.

“There really wasn’t a lot of traffic, it’s still a work day.  It was after rush hour when we got to the airport. So it wasn’t problematic,” Gary Sidell said. He and his wife are traveling to the Green Mountain State for a wedding from their home state of Virginia.
