With thousands coming to the waterfront Sunday night, a busy holiday weekend is expected for Burlington businesses.
Down on Lake Street, the Skinny Pancake is preparing for another busy holiday weekend.
Skinny Pancake’s Director of Operations Chris Benjamin says the only break they get…Is during the fireworks show. “And we’ll have a little lull then, and then the crowds come back. So, I mean, we’re talking in a standard weekend, 5,000 or 6,000 people that we service, just alone. How many people are down here? I couldn’t even imagine!”
Crowds of 15 to 20,000 are expected to attend.
Skinny Pancake says with the fireworks and live music planned for the evening, the restaurant will stay open until about 2 am.
