The Ticonderoga Ferry across Lake Champlain between Ticonderoga, New York, and Shoreham, Vermont, will open for service Saturday.

The ferry will make three round trips an hour between 7 am and 6 pm through July 3, when it will operate until 7 pm.

The ferry was originally scheduled to begin operation this year on May 4, but the opening was delayed by high water in the Lake this spring.
