Bernie Sanders’ campaign schedules Vermont rally

Vermont’s junior senator and Democratic presidential hopeful has finally announced a campaign event in his home state.

Bernie Sanders will hold a rally in Saturday, May 25th in Montpelier.

According a news release from his campaign, the rally will highlight Sanders’ career in public service and celebrate the impact it’s had on Vermont through the years.

The event is open to the public and will start at 2 p.m.  Singer and songwriter Brandi Carlile will perform at the rally.

Sanders’ has been to every battleground state, some more than once, since his February announcement.

During his run in 2016, Sanders kicked off his campaign for president in Vermont, at the Burlington Waterfront in May 26, 2015.
