Search crews have recovered a body from Lake Champlain believed to be 42-year-old Andrew Lynch of St. Albans. The body was recovered near the Rouses Point Bridge.
The body will be transported to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Burlington for an autopsy to determine cause and manner of death.
Lynch was reported missing on Tuesday morning, by his family.
His car was located in a parking area on the Vermont side of the bridge. It is believed Lynch entered the water in the vicinity of the bridge.
