Representative Elise Stefanik made a stop in Plattsburgh Friday as part of her Coffee with your Congresswoman tour.
It’s a chance for constituents to ask questions that matter to them and affect the North Country. A wide range of topics came up from struggling dairy farmers to combatting climate change.
Stefanik also brought people up to speed on happenings in Washington D.C. such as cybersecurity, Russian meddling in the election, and the recent findings of the Mueller investigation.
“This was targeted hacking of the committees, this was targeted outreach to senior people in presidential campaigns and that should concern every American,” Rep. Stefanik said. “We need to ensure that in the future, we understand the threat that our electoral system is under and that we strengthen the legitimacy of our elections.”
Stefanik’s tour continued in Saratoga County Friday afternoon.
