Dozens arrested in Vermont drug sweep after multi-week investigation

The Vermont Drug Task Force has announced the arrests of 59 people on charges of selling and distributing heroin, fentanyl, cocaine and crack cocaine.

The suspects are charged with state drug offenses and were cited and released with court dates. Click here for a list of suspects and the charges they face.

The announcement caps what police say was a multi-week investigation involving Vermont State Police and police in Brattleboro, Bellows Falls, Springfield, Bennington, Rutland City, Burlington and South Burlington, Essex, St. Johnsbury and Newport; as well as the Bennington, Franklin and Grand Isle sheriff’s departments.
