Local 22 & Local 44’s Spencer Thomas, took to Sugarbush Resort to preview the 8th annual High Fives Foundation – Fat Ski-A-Thon!
The all-day event is full of fun and philanthropy, supporting the dreams of athletes that have suffered life-altering injuries and raise awareness for those who need it most.
Trevor Kennison, High Fives Athlete, and future Paralympic Skier told us his story and what events like these to him.
“Having High Fives Foundation get me back on the snow literally saved my life. Without the fundraising they do, it wouldn’t be possible for me to get to ski again, go on all of these trips to support them. All the hard work they do and what the community donates, allows us to live our lives again,” said Kennison.
The event kicks off at Sugarbush Lincoln Peak on Monday, March 3rd at 8:00 a.m.
