Five-month drug investigation nets 11 arrests in Vermont

Vermont State Police say 11 people face felony drug charges after a five-month investigation that also involved the seizure of heroin mixed with fentanyl and cocaine.

Police say nien Vermonters and two people frmo New York face charges that include the sale of heroin, fentanyl and cocaine, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, conspiracy to distribute fentanyl, aiding in the commission of a felony, and selling a regulated drug from a dwelling.

Authorities say they’re trying to determine whether the substances seized during the investigation are connected to recent overdose deaths in the area.

The five federal defendants and six state defendants include:

Tara Dulaurence, 44, Rutland;
Louis K. Margiotti Jr., 56, Rutland;
Shanna A. Fish, 27, Rutland;
Andrea McCullough, 34, Rutland;
Michael L. Goodnough, 44, Rutland;
David L. Santiago, 34, Bronx, New York;
Anthony S. Baker, 26, Brandon;
Scott A. Ross, 33, Rutland;
Keith A. Bradt, 28, Rutland;
Zaquikon T. Roy, 30, Brooklyn, New York;
Jack T. Hopper, 44, Rutland;

According to the Vermont Drug Task Force, arrest warrants were submitted for Roy and Santiago after learning both men were behind bars in New York.
