Gas prices rise slightly across Vermont, down in NH

Gas prices in Burlington have fallen 3.4 cents per gallon in the past week, to an average of $2.94 on Sunday.

According to GasBuddy’s survey of outlets, prices are 58.2 cents per gallon higher than a year ago in Burlington and 4.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

Across Vermont, prices went up 1.2 cents per gallon to an average of $2.89. Prices in New Hampshire decreased slightly average of $2.80 per gallon.

The national average is $2.85 per gallon, down 6.1 cents in the last month, but 60 cents higher than a year ago.
