King Arthur recalls 14,000 cases of all-purpose flour

King Arthur Four, Inc. has announced a voluntary recall of some 14,000 5-lb. bags of unbleached all-purpose flour sold by retailers around the country.

The Norwich company said it was informed by its supplier, ADM Milling Co., that wheat used to make the affected lots has been linked to an ongoing outbreak of E. coli infections. 

The products being recalled are labeled with the following information: 

BEST USED BY 12/07/19   LOT:   L18A07C

BEST USED BY 12/08/19   LOTS: L18A08A, L18A08B

BEST USED BY 12/14/19   LOTS: L18A14A, L18A14B, L18A14C

No illnesses have been reported to date. But consumers who have any of the affected products should  throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for credit or refund.

The recall does not include unbleached all-purpose flour sold through its website or Norwich store.
