Vermont State Police are investigating the death of a Landmark College student who was discovered deceased in a dorm room.

The student’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family. Police say the death does not appear to be suspicious. An autopsy is pending.

Landmark, in Putney, Vermont, is a private college for people diagnosed with learning disabilities, attention disorders or autism. It offers 2- and 4-year programs in the liberal arts and sciences.
