ESSEX JUNCTION, Vt. – Day two of the Champlain Valley Fair featured nice weather, large crowds and a performance from America’s Got Talent winner Darci Lynne.
Lynne, a 14 year-old singer and ventriloquist, drew a large audience for her performance in the grandstands, with hundreds of people waiting in line hours before the event.
On Sunday, a monster truck show will fill the grandstands as well. The show is aptly named “Night of Fire and Destruction,” and some of the most well-known monster trucks are expected to be on hand for car crushing.
Tickets for the “Night of Fire and Destruction” are $10, and can be purchased on the fair’s website.
Local 22 & Local 44 will have a tent set up from 3:30 to 7:30 with free goodies, and you can enter for a chance to win a free iPad by downloading the MyChamplainValley app via the App Store or Google Play. Entry for the contest closes at the end of the fair, and full rules can be found here.
Entrants don’t need to stop by the Local 22 & Local 44 tent on the fairgrounds to participate.
