A man drowned in upper Saranac Lake off state route 30 in Santa Clara, New York on Friday.
New York State Police say they were called to the Lake after Robert Call, 31, was tubing behind a boat and fell into the water.
After the boat returned to Call, passengers tried to hand him a flotation device but he became unresponsive.
Police say Call was then pulled out of lake and given CPR by the boat passengers but he never regained consciousness.
Local EMS arrived to the scene to assist with pulling call from the water. They tried additional life saving practices on him but the efforts were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead on the shoreline.
