The Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS) and the Churck Street Marketplace are giving their collection box campagin a new look and a new message.
Happening today, Friday May 3rd at 11 a.m. right in front of Stephen & Burns.
COTS launched the campaign back in 2013, featuring Lake Champlain’s famous monster ‘Champ’ and his sister ‘Champette.’ They have collected thousands of dollars for COTS to help people facing homelessness in Vermont.
Ron Redmond, the Executive Director of the Church Street Marketplace say, “Our very generous community has donated more than $17,000 through these two collection boxes in the past six years.”
The collection box campaign ‘Positive Change’ debuts just in time for the 30th Anuual COTS walk, happening Sunday May 5th.
