Firefighters were called to a house fire on Juniper Ridge in the Village of Essex Junction shortly after noon Tuesday.
One resident suffered minor injuries. The fire was determined to be accidental.
Firefighters from Essex and Essex Junction responded to the fire call and were assisted by several area departments, including Colchester Center, Williston and Underhill Jericho, as well as by the Vermont State Police and the Vermont Division of Fire Safety.
