Burlington police say two more suspects have been arrested for their roles in the aftermath of a shoot-out in the Old North End that left one man dead and another wounded.

On Monday, Burlington police said that 54-year-old Angelina Pearson-Fitzpatrick of Burlington and 26-year-old Takesha Thomas, of Orlando, Florida, were arrested on charges of accessory after the fact for providing assistance to two suspects who were arrested in Connecticut.

Both women are due in court in Burlington on Tuesday. It’s not clear if they have attorneys.

Four other suspects have already been arrested in the April 16 shooting death of Benzel Hampton.

James Felix, 36, of Florida, who was hospitalized with gunshot wounds, was arrested after the shooting.

Lesine Woodson, 32, of Orlando, Florida, has charged with second-degree murder. She pleaded not guilty  in Vermont Superior Court in Burlington.

Brandon Sanders was apprehended April 17 while traveling northbound on I-91 near exit 49 in Enfield, Connecticut. Johnny Ford was arrested later that evening at a Motel 6 nearly 12 hours after he was kicked out of the MGM Grand Casino in Springfeld, Massachusetts.

Enfield police said they recovered 107 grams of crack cocaine and more than $17,000 in cash from Ford’s motel room.

Police say they believe the shooting was over a drug debt.
