Vermont State Police want the public’s help locating a 57-year-old New Jersey man who was last seen in the vicinity of the Champlain Bridge.

Brian Brady of Ringwood, New Jersey, was reported missing Thursday afternoon by family members concerned with his well-being. Brady owns a condominium at Smuggler’s Notch, but when police performed a welfare check there, they found the residence unoccupied.

Investigators say Brady’s rental car was found Friday at a park-and-ride lot in Addison, on the Vermont side of the Champlain Bridge.

Police divers from Vermont and New York are searching the waters near the bridge.

Brady is described as white, standing 6′ 1″ inches tall, 200 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what he was last wearing.

Anyone with information about Brady’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the Vermont State Police in Williston at 802-878-7111.
