A Milton man is facing charges after police say he was trying to fight people on the streets of St. Albans on Saturday night.
Police say when they arrived to the scene, Todd Hoyte, 48, was drunk and threatening others. He allegedly resisted arrest, spitting on an officer and saying he was a law enforcement officer.
Police say Hoyt was prohibited from drinking alcohol under conditions in an unrelated case.
Hoyte was expected to answer to charges in court today.
