A Queensbury, New York, man is due in court in Plattsburgh on Tuesday after being arrested for allegedly exposing himself to two children outside a Target store.

New York State Police said Allan E. Pontes, 48, was arrested Monday in Esopus, New York. He was arraigned in the Town of Beekmantown Court and charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one count of first-degree public lewdness and one count of exposure of a person.

The incident,. which was caught on video surveillance, happened August 20 at about 3 p.m.. Police said an investigation that included tips posted on Facebook after images from the video were released last week led to Pontes arrest.

Pontes is to scheduled to appear in the Town of Plattsburgh Court on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
