Richmond welcomes veteran Windsor County officer as new police chief

Richmond, Vermont, has a new police chief.

Larry Muldoon was sworn in Monday morning.

For the past 10 years, he has worked in law enforcement in Windsor County.  Muldoon started his law career 16 years ago in California.

He also served as a school resource officer. During his time in Windsor County, Muldoon became a field training officer and a peer support counselor.

Alan Buck retired in June of 2018, after seven years as chief. Buck was at Monday’s ceremony.
