The ‘Switchback Bike for the Lake’ is back for ninth year

Local News

You can do your part to promote a clean lake while getting in some great exercise at the upcoming “Switchback Bike for the Lake.”

The ninth annual ride is set to start at 7 a.m., Saturday, June 15.  The 100-mile, 80-mile, 60-mile, or 30-mile rides begin and end at Knight Point State Park.

Bikers can enjoy views of Lake Champlain, the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks while supporting the water quality work of Friends of Northern Lake Champlain.

And no matter how many miles you bike, Switchback Brewery will be waiting with an ice-cold beer.
