Vermont State Police have identified the body found floating in Joe’s Pond in West Danville as John Allen, 63, St. Johnsbury.
Police received the report of a body found early Wednesday morning.
Allen’s body has been transported to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to determine cause and manner of death. Anyone with information should contact Vermont State Police.
