Colchester, VT.- Val Goldberg, the No Diet Dietitian, is known on Local 44 Morning Brew for her healthy eating tips. This time, she let someone else take the reins. Morning Anchor Megan Carpenter divulged her own health secrets. Below, you’ll find a list of what Megan typically eats in a day. Breakfast: chia seed pudding (two tablespoons chia seed, two tablespoons flax seed, 1/2 cup of almond milk or coconut milk) pair with Greek yogurt with berries, peanut butter, and maple syrup.
Snack: protein shake
Lunch: mixed greens (romaine and spinach) with grilled chicken, cherry tomatoes, hard-boiled egg, and balsamic vinaigrette.
Snack: fruit smoothies- strawberries, papaya, 1 Sambazon Tropical Immunity packet, coconut milk.
Dinner: grilled chicken and broccoli, or salmon and broccoli (add soy sauce)
This diet is paired with a consistent yoga practice, weight training twice per week and cardio twice per week.
