What a stunner of a day! If you didn’t have a chance to enjoy today’s weather, you will get a second chance tomorrow. After that, it’s going to be several more days before better weather returns. For now, an area of high pressure continues to control our forecast, allowing for a decent amount of sunshine and warm temperatures. Wrapping up the rest of tonight we are under a mixture of clouds and a few periods of clear skies. Monday will be similar to today, with a solid mixture of sunshine and variable cloud over, along with temperatures in the middle and upper 60s. Additionally, broad valleys could once again reach close to the 70-degree-mark.
All good things must come to an end. A weak cold front will approach the region Monday evening, first providing us with more clouds, then light rain. While the front will not bring us much rain, a few tenths of an inch, it will, in fact, bring in a colder airmass. Tuesday’s afternoon high will struggle to reach the middle 50s. The middle part of the week is starting to trend on the quieter side with variable clouds during the day on Wednesday, though it will still be cooler than average thanks to the northwesterly wind.
Thursday will begin dry, along with increasing clouds ahead of a warm front. Expecting showers to start Thursday afternoon/evening, followed by a cold front on Friday.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, dry, overnight low, the middle & the upper 40s. Wind: South 3-5mph.
Monday: Partly sunny, warm, afternoon high, the upper 60s to 70°. Wind: South 5-10mph.
Monday Night: Becoming clouds, isolated showers possible as a front approaches. Overnight low, the upper 40s. Wind: South 10mph.
Tuesday: Partly to mostly cloudy, the chance of rain as a cold front moves across the region. Rain totals less than 0.25″. Afternoon high, the low to middle 50s. Wind: Northwest 5-10mph.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy, afternoon high, the middle and upper 50s. Wind: North 5-10mph.
Have a great night & week,
