After a beautiful Mother’s Day Weekend… Rain is in the forecast once again. For the most part, it will be dry today, but we can’t rule out a few stray showers. Widespread rain showers move in by early evening.

DONT SHOOT THE MESSENGER!!!! SNOW, yes, SNOW is in the forecast!! But not for everyone. Below 2000ft. accumulations will be very limited, but above 2000ft expect 1-3in. the highest slope could see 3in.+

Fun fact: The latest snowfall on record in Burlington was back on May 31st, 1945, where the Queen City saw a trace of snow. May snow is definitely not unheard of! The latest snow has every fallen in Burlington was May 31st 1945, where they saw a trace of snow!

Today: Mostly cloudy with a few stray rain showers. Heavier widespread showers arrive by early evening. Mid 50’s
Tonight: Rain showers… and yes mountain snow showers (Don’t shoot the messenger!)  Low 40’s
Tuesday: Lingering rain/snow showers. Accumulations range between a trace below 1500′ 1-3″ above 2000′ and 6″+ on the Mnt peaks. Mid 40’s.
Wednesday: Rain showers. Mid 50’s
