Rain ends Friday night and we’re looking at a relatively nice Mother’s Day weekend! We’ll start the weekend under mostly cloudy skies Saturday morning; temps will be in the 40s. Clouds will gradually break away through lunchtime and we’ll salvage a decent afternoon with highs near 60°. Local 22 & 44 has a team walking in the MS Walk Saturday morning at Burlington High School. The weather team will also be at Burlington Kid’s Day from 10am to 3pm at the Burlington waterfront. We’ve got a few experiments lined up and the kids will also have the opportunity to make their own forecast. See you there!
Sunday is Mother’s Day and the weather won’t get in your way. Expect partly to mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 50s & low 60s. Clouds will get thicker later in the day thanks to our next rainmaker inching north. Rain should hold off until after dark but it does mean a wet start to next week. Happy Mother’s Day mom!
