Weather: Father’s Day weekend warmer but still wet (6/13/2019)

Local News
Planner for Friday June 14 2019

Thursday had fall written all over it! There were clouds, showers, wind and office space heaters on all across the Northeast. Thursday night, we keep spotty rain around under mostly cloudy skies. The wind will get weaker but remain periodically breezy. Lows will drop into the upper 40s & low 50s.

Friday features spotty rain and high temperatures only climbing into the mid 60s. Remember, average is about 75°! The Vermont Lake Monsters start their 2019 campaign at Centennial at 7:30pm against the Tri-City ValleyCats. There will be showers around but I still think they’re able to get the game in. The thunder threat is pretty much zero and temps will be in the upper 50s° after 7pm.

Father’s day weekend isn’t soaking wet but Sunday looks to be the wetter of the two days. Saturday, showers will be around with most of them along & north of the International Border. The more south you go, rain is still possible, but it should be more hit or miss. Meanwhile, highs get back into the mid 70s. Sunday, scattered rain and perhaps a thunderstorm will move through from morning to early afternoon. Showers linger during the afternoon but should get lighter as the day goes on; highs will be in the low 70s. At this point, don’t cancel outside plans with dad but i’d be prepared for a few rain delays.

The weekend is in view!
