With a mix of sun and clouds alongside comfortably warm temperatures Wednesday, you may think we are free of any and all weather woes. However, we’re dodging a few afternoon showers and possibly an isolated thunderstorm, too. More rain Thursday! Let’s break this down!
Wednesday – Mostly to partly sunny with increasing afternoon clouds. Mid to upper 70s, nearing 80 degrees with slightly more humidity than yesterday thanks to a dew point in the low 60s. Light south wind 5-10 mph. By the afternoon, a weak wave arrives with a handful of scattered, brief showers (and isolated non-severe thunderstorm) popping up. Convection will diminish with sunset, 8:40 PM.
Tonight – Partly to mostly cloudy. Near 60 degrees.
Thursday – Mostly cloudy, but quiet throughout the morning. By the afternoon, widespread rain returns. Rain may be heavy to torrential at times, with some picking up 1-2+” total rainfall by daybreak Friday. Cooler, upper 60s to low 70s.
Friday – Showers wrap up during the morning, though clouds are really slow to clear through the day. Low to mid 70s.
Saturday – A mix of sun and clouds will again be found overhead, with a slight chance for a few isolated showers, mainly over the Northeast Kingdom. Mid 70s.
Sunday – Mostly sunny. Near 80 degrees.
Have a marvelous day!
