Happy Friday!!! Another Lovely day out there, we finally hit 80° at Burlington International Airport with a high of 82°. That is good enough to be the warmest day at BTV since October 10th. The good news is this nice weather is going to stick around for the weekend. We deserve it. Friday night plans look good with clear skies but, we cool down into upper 40s and low 50s after midnight. Saturday looks to be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Winds will be light out of the north at 5-7mph. Sunday may outdo Friday by a few degrees making it the warmest day of the year so far. Highs will soar low to mid 80s under abundant sunshine. Good news for humidity haters, it will be the most comfortable 85° you ever felt.
To begin your work week on Monday we keep the heat with highs in the low 80s. Meanwhile, skies will start off sunny but clouds begin to fill back in as we head through the afternoon. This is all in association with our next rain maker Monday Night and Tuesday. This could prove to be quite the soaker for us producing anywhere from .5″-1.5″. At this point, the flooding situation appears to be minor but, you will want to be on the lookout for some minor flash flooding and ponding on the roads. We clear things out again for Wednesday with temperatures climbing into the lower 70s. Unfortunately, we close out the work week once again with a chance of showers and temperatures slightly below average in the upper 60s and lower 70s. In case your keeping score at home, the average temperature for early June is about 74°.
Enjoy your weekend!
