Friday night, quiet weather continues however there is still a bunch of smoke in the sky from fires burning in Canada. Expect a beautiful sunset under partly to mostly cloudy skies. As the night goes on, lows will fall into the low to mid 40s. Saturday looks good, for the most part. We will have a few showers around from time to time but I wouldn’t cancel plans. Highs will be in the 60s & low 70s. The coolest spots in the 60s will be along the border with gradual warming the more south you go.
Saturday night, spotty showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms will dot the map; lows will be in the mid 50s. Sunday will be the wetter of the 2 weekend days and it also comes with a chance at thunder. In the morning, we will have some showers around and by the afternoon, thunderstorms will sprout. There’s a low-end chance some of them get strong putting down gusty winds, hail and heavy rain. That’s something to keep in mind if you’ve got outdoor plans. Meanwhile, outside of showers & storms, highs will get into the upper 60s & low 70s again.
We’ll keep showers and a few thunderstorms around on Monday but highs will be cooler, only reaching the low 60s. Tuesday, we get a break from the rain but it stays cool for early June, only reaching the low 60s.
Wednesday & Thursday, we get back into the low 70s but rounds of showers and thunderstorms come back. Friday, we trend drier and warmer with highs in the 70s & low 80s.
Have a great weekend!
