Wow! This weekend has been nothing short of perfect. Only if we could extend this ‘type’ of weather into next week. Will we? The short answer is, ‘no’. But, there is still a decent amount of sunshine to be hand– just not in the moderation we experienced since late last week. We owe our thanks to a firm region of high pressure, it’s been parked over our head since late Wednesday/Thursday of last week. Unfortunately, the ‘dome’ of high pressure is shifting off to the east, leading our next weather maker into the region.
Don’t panic! We have another great night of sleeping weather ahead. Clear overnight with temperatures in the middle 50s for the majority of us, a few in the high country will see lows in the upper 40s to the lower 50s. A few areas of fog will kick-off Monday under rather blue skies. The clouds will filter back in, especially during the early afternoon hours, this is coming in ahead of a warm front. A few minor showers are possible across the higher terrain, leaving the vast majority of the daily light hours dry and warm. Going past midnight, rain, and a few embedded thunderstorms are possible with pockets of heavy rain– that could total up to 0.50 &1.00″.
Rain will wrap up early on Tuesday, likely before lunch, with clouds slowly thinning out during the early afternoon hours. A shift in wind direction and speed will keep us “cooler” than what was experienced this past weekend. Highs will struggle Tuesday to reach 70°. Looking ahead, a passing area of high pressure will leave us sunny on Wednesday, with seasonable temperatures. Thursday starts off dry, but, another chance of rain moves in (with less in the way of moisture than the Monday/Tuesday storm) and lingers around through Friday.
Tonight: Clear and comfortable. Low: Mid 50s. Wind: South 5-10mph.

Monday Night: Cloudy with periods of rain, rain could be heavy at times. Low: Upper 50s & Low 60s. Wind: South 5-10mph.
Tuesday: Widespread rain becomes isolated by lunch, totals range from 0.50 to 1.00″. Locally higher amounts are possible. High: Upper 60s to 70°. Wind: West 10-15mph.

Have a great night,
