Good morning! Happy Friday!
Rain rolls through on Friday, but drier weather returns for the weekend. We may not be sunbathing, but it will be more pleasant than last weekend. Let’s break it down…
Friday – It may seem like a repeat performance of Thursday with stubborn low clouds and areas of fog. However, there will be a few batches of showers, totaling 0.25-0.5″ of rainfall; certainly an escalation of yesterday’s sprinkles. The temp is a tad warmer, however, into the low to mid 50s, with a light south wind of 5-10 mph.
Tonight – Rain tapers off, but an inversion keeps the cloud cover locked in place through Saturday morning. Low temp, 40s.
Saturday – Clouds hang tough throughout the morning, but partial clearing takes place in the afternoon. A lot of us will be underwhelmed by the lack of sunshine, but a few breaks are possible in northern New York and northern Vermont. Upper 50s to near 60 degrees.
Sunday – Any partly sunny sky conditions in the morning quickly turn mostly cloudy as an area of low pressure moves through southern New England, as light showers just clip central and southern Vermont and New Hampshire. Low 60s.
Monday – A few showers are possible; otherwise, more clouds than sun. Near 60 degrees.
Tuesday – Partly sunny. Also, near 60 degrees.
Have a marvelous weekend!
