Thursday will start dry with some sun but clouds increase during the afternoon. Another round of snow arrives as Thursday goes on and continues through the first part of Friday. Snow from this weak disturbance doesn’t appear to be big; valleys get a dusting to 2″, mountains get 2-4″. Highs Thursday make it into the 30s but Friday afternoon, behind that batch of snow, temps drop back into the teens & 20s behind a strong northwest wind. In fact, the warmest part of Friday will be in the morning when we’re in the mid 20s! Lows for most Friday night will be in the single digits. Parts of the Daks & NEK will be around or below 0°! The Champlain Valley will be closer to 10°. We’ll have a quiet start to the weekend before another quick hit of light snow Saturday night & Sunday morning.
All in all, the next week is more about the cold than anything else. Highs Monday through Wednesday will struggle to hit 30°, lows will be in the single digits & teens. Ma Nature won’t be adding much new snow but it’s been an epic start to the season anyway. There’s still lots of good riding to be done! This cold snap will help solidify the base. Enjoy!
