A second woman has been charged with stealing more than $100,000 from the Abenaki Self Help Association.

60 year-old Louise Lampman Larivee pleaded not guilty in federal court Monday, to 2 counts of embezzling from a federal program.

Employed by the Association as the Director of the Department of Labor Grant program, Larivee is accused of misappropriating grant money meant for the organization for personal use.

Her co-conspirator, Candy Thomas, has already pleaded guilty to charges and is awaiting sentencing.

If convicted, Larivee faces up to 10 years in prison.
