***UPDATE***: Police now say the “suspicious suspect” was a male carrying an umbrella, which someone thought looked like a long gun. The male was questioned and released. Police say there was no firearm.
Classes have resumed at Lyndon Institute following a campus lockdown this morning.
Local and State Police were called to the school following reports of a suspicious person.
Just before 1pm the lockdown was lifted and students returned to class.
