The Made in Vermont Marketplace kicked off Saturday with more than 80 exhibitors at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction, Vt.
Thousands of people came through to support local businesses and products, including Governor Phil Scott.
There’s not only lots of Vermont food products, but also items including furniture and jewelry.
It’s an opportunity for the community to support its local businesses.
“Vermont products, they need to stick together. There’s something to be said about being made in Vermont,” said Ti Kawamoto, Venetian Beverages. “You know, support local producers, it’s very important to do. That’s what drives the Vermont economy, just having people here producing what they can in Vermont. I think that’s super important.”
The marketplace continues Sunday from 10am – 4pm.
Tickets cost $6. Five dollars for seniors.
