Investigators have identified the man killed in single-engine plane crash in Island Pond as 60-year-old Mark Biron, of Brighton, Vermont.
The plane went down Saturday afternoon near the John H. Boylan Airport. Emergency crews responding to a large fire about 100 yards from the runway discovered a badly burned small single-engine aircraft.
Biron was the sole occupant of the plane
Investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board arrived Sunday. The investigation continues
