Massachusetts man makes unwanted sexual advances at Vermont hotel employee, resists arrest

Sunday night, Vermont State Police responded to a report of an intoxicated guest at the Colonnade Inn, in Lyndon.

It was reported the male made unwanted and forced sexual advances toward an employee of the hotel.

An investigation revealed, Anthony Colby, 39, of West Roxbury, MA, was found to be highly intoxicated and uncooperative with responding troopers.

Police say as Colby was being taken into custody, he attempted to keep from being handcuffed by the arresting troopers.

According to a media release, after a short scuffle, Colby was taken into custody without injury.

Colby is lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility for lack of $25,000.00.

He is scheduled to appear in the Caledonia Superior Court – Criminal Division on 3/19/2018 at 12:30 p.m.
